Denison -- This Sunday the people at Red River Unitarian Universalist Church will be part of the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Annual General Assembly taking place in New Orleans happening through Sunday of this week.  Because all business sessions, along with  major worship services, programs and workshops are streamed online, the Worship Team will capture various events and present video clips to the congregation on Sunday.  The 11:15 a.m. Morning Assembly, “The Best of General Assembly 2017” will let those unable to participate on site, experience what it is like to attend the national annual gathering.  Portions of the Convention’s Sunday service will be streamed live so the congregation can participate in the closing worship experience.

The Adult Forum, gathering at 10:00 a.m., will continue studying and discussing Native Peoples of North America, a Great Courses video series.  The morning begins at 9:00 a.m. with an hour of quiet and pensive meditation for those who long for an opportunity to step aside from the noise and rush of every day life.

Red River Unitarian Universalist Church, a lay-led congregation, is located at 515 North Burnett Ave in Denison.  Newcomers, especially those who feel left behind by traditional religious communities, are warmly invited to check out Texoma’s only liberal religious community.
