Lindsay Lady Knights sweep Notre Dame, Burkburnett

The Lindsay Lady Knights opened the 2017 season with two wins in Wichita Falls.  In their first game, Lindsay defeated Notre Dame 3-0.  

Scores were:  25-16, 25-15, 25-17

Stats were:
Ashley Fleitman 4 kills, 5 blocks, 3 digs, 18 assists
Skylar Tatum 4 aces, 4 kills, 5 digs
Jocelyn Grewing 12 kills, 2 blocks
Olivia Hertel 3 aces, 6 digs
Brianna Craigie 4 kills
Kathryn Worth 3 digs
Karson Dykes 3 kills, 2 blocks, 15 assists
Makenzie Fleitman 9 kills
Kayln Pulte 3 digs

In the second game,  Lindsay defeated Burkburnett 3-0. 
Scores were: 25-22, 25-22, 25-9.

Stats were:  Ashley Fleitman 4 kills, 2 blocks, 4 digs, 11 assists
Skylar Tatum 2 aces, 5 kills, 2 blocks, 5 digs
Jocelyn Grewing 6 kills, 4 blocks
Brianna Craigie 2 blocks

Karson Dykes 5 kills, 13 assists
Makenzie Fleitman 9 kills

Lindsay (2-0) will play in the Nike ASC/Denton Ryan Classic Volleyball Tournament beginning on Thursday.  They will open play against Parish Episcopal at 4:15 p.m.; following that, they will play Hockaday.  Those games will be played at the Advantage Sports Complex at 2800 I-35 East in Carrolton.

On Friday the games are to be played at Denton Ryan High School.  On Friday the first game will be against Callisburg at 8:00 a.m., followed by Iowa Park at 9:00 a.m.
