Howe, Texas -- Eula Moore, 79, of Howe, passed away January 31, 2018 at her home.

She was born June 18, 1938 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Dan and Rhoda Fout. Eula married Troy Moore on March 10, 1956 in Artesia, New Mexico.

Surviving are her two children: daughter, Janet Moore of Howe, Texas and son, Rick Moore and his wife, Rebecca of McKinney, Texas. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Michael Moore and Blaine Moore. She loved her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Troy Moore, her sister Edith Miller and her parents Dan and Rhoda Fout.  She also is survived by two sisters, Wanda Bradley and Melba Spegal.  She is also survived by her foster family from Victoria, Texas, and she was “granny” to one of her kindergarten students long ago Sandra Hoover

She loved reading, cooking and spending time with her family..  She taught kindergarten at St. Mary’s in Sherman, Texas. She continued to be a substitute teacher after her retirement.   Eula had a gift with young children. She never considered teaching to be just a job, it was also her hobby.

A special thanks goes to Benny and Debbie Harmon, Courtney Miller, and Chad Allison.   Also special thanks to Jim and Lynn Cabe and their bridge group.   She was a member of Western Heights Church of Christ in Sherman, Texas. We would like to thank Heavenly Comfort Hospice and Serenity Home Health as they cared for Mom over the past several months.  All were like angels sent to help care for her.
