Dodd City -- On Wednesday, March 7, the Dodd City High School band attended the Sounds of Spring Concert and Sightreading Contest at Princeton High School.

For the first part of the contest, the students performed three pieces in a concert setting for judges.  For the Sightreading portion, they went into a new room with new judges, and played music they had never seen before.

The band earned ratings of one (which is the best rating) on stage and in sightreading.  The judges also gave written comments, which will help the band to develop.

Mrs. Wild is extremely proud of her students and all their progress.
