(Aubrey, TX – June 21, 2018)  -- The first model homes have opened in Sandbrock Ranch, a new community in Aubrey, Texas.

David Weekley Homes has opened two model homes in Sandbrock Ranch, where the builder offers homes priced from the mid $200,000s for 50-foot properties. David Weekley’s Forreston model will serve as the builder’s sales office. The one-story, 2,254-square-foot design offers three bedrooms with a super shower in the master bedroom. David Weekley’s second model home, the Malinda floor plan has four bedrooms, three baths and an upstairs retreat within 2,897 square feet. David Weekley Homes has 62 homesites in Sandbrock Ranch.

“This is an exciting time to witness the very beginnings of what is destined to be a premier community in North Texas,” said Bryan Burchfiel, Project Manager for Sandbrock Ranch. “Model homes are opening, builders are starting presales and progress is being made on the Carriage House amenity center — the vision for Sandbrock Ranch is becoming a reality.”

Highland Homes has opened its Amberley design at 1633 Ranger Road. The 2,075-square-foot model features three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a study and two-car garage. It showcases homes offered for 50-foot properties in Sandbrock Ranch and is one of two models Highland Homes will have for 50-foot homesites. Opening soon will be Highland’s Blenheim model at 1820 Ranger Road. It is designed for 60-foot homesites, the largest available in Sandbrock Ranch. A fourth model home, designed for 45-foot properties, is expected to open later in June.

With pre-sales underway from the $230,000s, Highland Homes has 112 45-foot homesites in Sandbrock Ranch, as well as 64 50-foot properties and 43 60-foot homesites. The community is being developed by Jean Ann Brock and Rod Sanders, founders of Highland Homes and the owners of the 2,400-acre horse ranch that is being developed as Sandbrock Ranch.

Perry Homes also has started construction of a model home in Sandbrock Ranch. The builder, celebrating 50 years of homebuilding, will offer homes from the low $300,000s for 50-foot homesites. Perry’s Design 2916W will offer four bedrooms and 3.5 baths within 2,916 square feet. Perry Homes plans to build 41 homes in the community and expects to begin pre-sales in July.

"These builders are all highly respected and all three are family-founded businesses,” Burchfiel said. “Their involvement speaks to the caliber of the development. Homebuyers can rest assured their homes will be exceptionally well built and the buying process will be a family-friendly experience.”

Residents new to Sandbrock Ranch won’t have to wait long to enjoy amenities at the Carriage House, which is under construction now and will offer a clubhouse, fitness facility, resort pool and splash pad. Two stocked lakes, walk-and-bike pathways, an event lawn, recreational fields, playscapes and an outdoor amphitheater will provide opportunities for outdoor play, gatherings and events. The Carriage House is expected to open late fall 2018.
