Ladonia, Texas -- Ladonia is a small town in North Texas, but we have a lot in store for us in the future! Did you know that Ladonia is the home of the Lake Ralph Hall project? For now we are most well known for the North Sulphur River and the fossils it reveals after heavy rainfall. In the next few years, much of this area will be dammed up to become Lake Ralph Hall. Also, the North East Texas Trail goes right through our town and encourages biking, hiking and equestrian riding from Farmersville to New Boston.

We'd like to encourage everyone to come out to our event, the 20 Mile Garage Sale and Market on the Square, which is being held October 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

There will be garage sales around the areas of Ladonia, Pecan Gap, Bug Tussle, Dial and Ben Franklin. It's a good way to check out our area and enjoy the country sights while shopping and eating from one of the participating vendors or at our local cafe, The Pig & Whistle.

We hope to see lots of folks enjoying the day!

Thank you,
Cheryl L. McClure, Member of the Chamber of Commerce of Ladonia
