Sherman, Texas -- Is there a relative, dropped off the family tree, who nobody wanted to talk about?

Looking for an ancestor who might have been up to (or accused of) no good? Join us Wednesday, March 13 for Kimberly Wells' presentation, "We Donít Talk About Them."

Kimberly will discuss how to look for these ďtroublemakersĒ while doing your genealogy research. She will discuss how to search for prisoners, deserters, runaway spouses and other possible pariahs in a variety of sources.

Kimberly received her BA in History and MLS from the University of North Texas. She spent 6 years working in the Genealogy and Local History department of the Fort Worth Public Library.  In 2006, she accepted a position with the Denton Public Library and currently is the manager of the Emily Fowler Central Library.

Sheís a dynamic speaker you donít want to miss, especially with a topic like this one!

Join us every 2nd Wednesday as we expand our knowledge of history, genealogy and ourselves.  Our meetings are 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Sherman Parks and Recreation, 1002 N. Music Street.  Everyone is welcome, whether just beginning or having researched for years.  Registration is not required.
