Blue Ridge, Texas -- The Bonham Lady Warriors improved to 18-2 on the year and evened their District 10-3A record at 1-1 with a run-rule victory over Blue Ridge in five innings.

Blue Ridge took a 3-0 lead into the top of the third inning before the Bonham bats unleashed a 12-hit barrage, scoring 17 runs during the next three innings for a convincing 17-4 win on the road.

Brooke Aaron went 3-for-3, scored three runs and drove in three more runs. Raegan Shackelford was 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

Madison Wrape, Averi Reeves and Joli Kirkpatrick all had two kits apiece.

Carsyn Hemby had one hit and scored three times. Mackenzie Person scored twice and drove in a run.

Cameron Person threw a four-hitter to notch the win.

Cheyenne Lanier had a pair of hits for Blue Ridge, with Courtney Hopper and Jaycee Saunders each collecting one hit.

Hopper pitched four innings and was tagged with the loss.

Bonham will host Bells on Tuesday, beginning with JV at 11:00 a.m. and followed by varsity at 1:00 p.m.

Blue Ridge will travel to Whitewright.
