Nevada, Texas -- The Bonham Warriors stayed close in the first quarter, but the Community Braves exploded for 28 unanswered points in the second period and went on to post a 56-21 victory.

The Warriors only trailed 14-7 heading into the second period, with Bonham's touchdown coming on a 22-yard run by Cam Reed, but four quick touchdowns by the Braves gave Community a commanding 35-7 advantage.

Bonham narrowed the gap to 35-14 just before halftime when Brant Stuber hit Jerrell Stewart with a 65-yard touchdown pass.

Community stretched it's lead to 49-14 in the third quarter.

Both teams managed one TD in the final frame of a 56-21 win by Community.

Bonham (0-2) will look to turn things around next week when the Warriors host the Leonard Tigers.
