Sherman, Texas -- Texoma Council of Governments' Area Agency on Aging invites the community to attend the Partners in Education (P.I.E.) Series at the Sherman Public Library.

Focus on Head-to-Toe Wellness will begin with "Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body" presented by Jennifer DiLorenzo, Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Are there ways to possibly delay the onset of memory loss?

At any age, there are lifestyle habits that can be adopted to help maintain or even improve our health. Discussion will take place in identifying four areas in our lives that are associated with healthy aging. The latest research will be presented along with practical steps that individuals can take immediately to improve and/or maintain overall health.

Partnering with the Alzheimer's Association are Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and TCOG's Area Agency on Aging who are dedicated to bringing relevant health and educational topics to the public.

Refreshments will be served at this free presentation to be held at the Sherman Public Library.
