Fannin County, Texas -- Brad Nichols, Kiwanis President, has been back in full swing, as Kiwanis begin meeting after Coronavirus hiatus. There has been much to catch up on and much to do for future planning.

Randy Bowen, fireworks chairman, has completed plans for the Fireworks Show to be held on Saturday, July 4, at Lake Bonham beginning at 9:00 p.m. This year’s co-sponsors are N-Tex Sand & Gravel, Bonham Chrysler, and the City of Bonham. The 2020 show will be spectacular. Hope to see everyone there. For your own safety and the safety of others, we are asking that you use social distancing and wear masks.

Ron Nippert, new Trade Days chairman, has been busy beginning to put Trade Days information on computers. This will take some time to complete, but in the end will speed up information. In addition, Nippert will be doing all Trade Days’ billing.

Fannin County has been blessed to have few Coronavirus cases, but Tarrant, Dallas, Collin, and Grayson counties have had many cases. We could see more cases as virus travels our way. Please be safe and stay safe by keeping social distancing and wearing your masks.
