PUBLIC NOTICE

 

This is official notice that there will be a Public Hearing at 5:00 pm, Monday, February 19, 2024, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 220 W. Mulberry, Sherman, Texas, for the following Ordinances. The Meeting at which these Items are to be considered is open to the public as required by law.

 

ORDINANCE NO. 6695

Amending Sherman's Zoning Ordinance/Code Of Ordinances Chapter 14, To Rezone A Tract Of Land Consisting Of 0.496 Acres Being Lots 1, 2 And 3 Of The Northcreek Addition In The Alexander And Richards Survey, Abstract No. 42, City Of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, Located At 5012-5020 Knollwood Road, Heretofore Zoned MF-30 (Multi Family Residential) District; Rezoning And Placing The Tract In The R-2F (Duplex Residential) District Zoning Classification, Young Enterprises, LP And Jose Menjivar (Owner) And Copley Land Surveying (Surveyor) Providing For A Penalty Not To Exceed $2,000.00; Providing A Repealing/Savings Clause, Severability Clause And An Effective Date

ORDINANCE NO. 6701

Closing and Abandoning the Platted Right of Way known as Sparrow Lane between Crockett Street and Walnut Street in the City of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas, as being shown in Volume 19, Page 55, and Volume 25, Page 559, Deed Records, Grayson County, Texas, and Being More Particularly Described as Tract "1" and Tract "2" in the Exhibit "A" Attached Hereto and Made a Part Hereof for all Purposes, Said Property Shall be Reserved as an Utility Easement for Public and Franchise Utilities the Right of Ingress and Egress to Same for Purposes of Operation, Maintenance, or Removal of such Utilities or until such Utilities shall be Abandoned or Relocated

 

ORDINANCE NO. 6702

Establishing Maximum, Reasonable and Prudent Rates of Speed on Certain Portions of U.S. Highway 75 and the Adjacent Frontage Roads in the Corporate Limits of Sherman, Grayson County, Texas; Fixing Penalties for Violation Thereof; Declaring an Emergency; Providing for Severability; Providing for a Repealer
