Eclipse watch party

Bonham, Texas -- Where do you plan on being April 8, 2024, when Bonham will experience more than three minutes of totality during the upcoming total solar eclipse? Neighbors Place Winery in historic downtown Bonham has a special day planned from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. April 8 to help you enjoy this rare celestial phenomenon.

Lunch will be provided by Cane River Catering and live music will supply the soundtrack for a memorable day as guests observe the eclipse in the courtyard at Neighbors Place Winery.

The winery's total package deal of $75 includes a commemorative bottle of wine, a solar eclipse t-shirt, solar glasses and a box lunch. An a la cart option will be available too.

The last time Fannin County experienced a total solar eclipse was July 29, 1878. Don't hold your breath for the next one because it won't occur until 2044.
