Fannin County, Texas -- The County Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Fannin County has voted to consolidate several voting precincts on primary election day, March 5.  As the Fannin County Republican Party is one of the few in Texas that does not follow the best election practices of the Texas Secretary of State for primary elections by agreeing to a joint primary process, a shortage of Democratic workers has necessitated this action.

Early voting is still available at the Civic Center/Armory (1100 W. 5th, Bonham) from 7am to 7pm through Friday, March 1st, and Democratic voters are encouraged to take advantage of this option to avoid any possible confusion or congestion on election day, March 5.

On March 5, the following Democratic precincts will be combined (The Democratic ballot is the same for all county precincts, so voters' choices of candidates will not be affected.):

Savoy (Precinct 2) voters will cast ballots at the Ector location (Precinct 15, United Methodist Church, 401 Church St., Ector).

Windom (Precinct. 16) voters will cast ballots at the Dodd City location (Precinct 6, City Hall, 304 S. Caney, Dodd City).

Telephone (Precinct 12) voters will cast ballots at the Ivanhoe location (Precinct 5, First Baptist Church, 4063 N. FM 273, Ivanhoe).

Bailey (Precinct 7) and South Bonham/Cowboy Church (Precinct 17) voters will cast ballots at the Randolph location (Precinct 13, First Baptist Church, 1099 Business 121, Randolph).

We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion and would heartily encourage any interested Democrats to volunteer to work the polls in the future to address this imbalance.  It is your Democracy.

The following is a brief guide to all Democratic voting locations for the March 5 primary election.
