Sherman, Texas (April 8, 2024) -- SHERMAN, Texas (April 8, 2024) - Texoma FC today announced the local ownership group behind the professional soccer franchise planning to kick off into the community March of 2025. Legacy Soccer LLC, is spearheaded by Jacob West, Gabriel West and Bobby West from Denison, Texas.
“From the start, we have been passionate about finding an ownership group that was excited about not just a professional franchise, but also about the community of Texoma and aligned with our purpose,” said Texoma FC Co-founder and President Ben Watson.

Introducing the West Family of West Legacy Holdings
At the age of 19, Bobby West, a Denison, Texas native, followed the example set by him by his parents and started his first business, a car wash. Throughout the years, his passion for business and connecting with people flourished into a thriving and successful car wash distribution business that serviced clientele in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Bobby and his wife, Susan, have shared their love of business and community with their sons, Gabriel and Jacob, throughout their lives.
Gabriel and Jacob are now hoping to share that same passion with their own children as they grow their own ‘Legacy.’
Gabriel West, went to the School of Automotive Machinists to build high performance marine engines and pursued this passion for several years, before founding and operating a marine service business of his own on Lake Texoma. More recently, he can be found pursuing his new passion, running point on managing the family real estate business. Gabriel is a family man, with solid values and has strong ties to the community. You are likely to see him at any number of local events, where he rarely meets a stranger.
Jacob West, followed in his father’s footsteps, joining the carwash business after high school. He moved from department to department, from the field to the office, feeling that there was nothing he couldn’t accomplish with drive and hard work. His love for the business eventually led to a partnership with his father. Jacob believes that success in business is not measured only in numbers but also in the strength of relationships forged through trust, integrity, and mutual respect.
"For more than a century, our family has owned and operated businesses in Denison, Texas,” said Jacob West. “The chance to join a professional soccer team isn't just about the present, it's about creating a legacy that will endure for generations, uniting the community through sport."
The West family’s investment journey and passion for real estate eventually came to reality with the creation of West Legacy Holdings and purchase of the family’s first rental property in 2018. In the years since, there have been more companies created, businesses sold and investments made in a joint effort to both make a positive impact on their local community and grow their family’s own ‘Legacy.’
