Bonham, Texas -- There was a time when it was hard to work the two words "Bonham" and "entertainment" into the same sentence, but if you were in historic downtown Bonham on Saturday, it's obvious that has changed.

The Creative Arts Center's annual Red River Arts Fest featured a full day of live music, along with art, vendors, food and wine. Neighbors Place Winery, with its sprawling outdoor decks and charming Hill Country ambience, has quickly become a regional favorite, and Deuces Wild Western Wear made a big splash Saturday by bringing the Tejas Brothers to town to celebrate the store's grand opening.

If you couldn't find a good time Saturday, you weren't looking for one.

Entertainment at this year's Red River Arts Fest had something for everyone -- delta blues to jazz, soulful singer/songwriters to hard-driving rock bands.

Musicians included Chris Cravens, Brad Silwood, Monte Ashcraft, Gary Pond, Cassandra Hashert, Oliver White, Randy Hopper, Kyle Shaw & the Outlaw Ranch Band, and 78 Live. All the musicians took the stage for a final jam session.

Inside the Creative Arts Center, a variety of vendors displayed jewelry, art, and an assortment of homemade crafts. Another group of vendors were set up under a shaded canopy in the parking lot.

Proceeds from this event will help promote the arts in Fannin County. For more information about Creative Arts Center, call 903-640-2196.
