Bonham, Texas -- Music in the Garden is back at the Creative Arts Center. This series of 6 free concerts kicked off on Thursday, May 30 with Buzz Andrew and Brad Silwood playing a fun mixture of rock, country and jazzy tunes. Due to the wet weather, the first concert was moved to the front porch of the Creative Arts Center in Bonham where there was more dry space.
This free concert series will continue every Thursday in June and wrap up on Wednesday, July 3. Each week, garden gates will open at 6:30 p.m. and the music will start at 7:00 p.m. In case of rain, the concert will move inside to the main gallery and there will likely be a 30 minute rain delay to allow other classes to wrap up inside.
Randy Hopper will take the stage on Thursday, June 6. Hopper has been writing his own songs for decades, and is known as a true Texas songsmith. Meaningful lyrics, awesome melodies, with a beautiful tenor voice.
Future concerts will include Bois d’Arc Revival on Thursday, June 13 and Michael Tuck on June 20.
All ages are welcome to come to the family friendly event. Everyone is encouraged to bring lawn chairs, food and drinks, and prepare to have a great evening! Free admission. Donations encouraged.
