Honey Grove, Texas -- Byrle Anthony Whipple, 60, of Valley View, Texas, formerly of Bonham, TX, was born July 26, 1963, to parents Eddie and Mary Whipple. Byrle received his Angel Wings, Thursday June 6 , 2024, surrounded by his family after a long fight with prostate cancer, at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville, TX.

Services for Mr. Whipple will be held on Monday June 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Honey Grove, TX. Visitation will be held an hour prior to service. Mr. Kenneth Wolfe will preside. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dyrle Whipple, Jerry Newhouse, Jeremy Sutton, Darren Neufeld, Tony Whipple, and Wade Whipple.

Byrle was a graduate of Bonham High School. He was an avid deer hunter, had a love for nature and being in the country living the life of a cowboy. Byrle kept a positive attitude no matter the pain he endured with the faith of God.

Mr. Whipple is survived by Lisa Barnes of the home, daughter Britt and boys, son Wade Whipple and Tabitha, granddaughter and star of his life Haven (Byrle loved her dearly), mother Mary Whipple, brother Dyrle Whipple, nephew Tony Whipple, Brittany Whipple, Adleigh Whipple, Halen Whipple, niece Katrina Hendrix, Oscar Hendrix, Jayce McBrayer, Alex Hendrix, niece Nikki Neufeld, Darren Neufeld, Marlee Harbor, Uncle Harvey Sutton, cousin Joletta Sutton, and cousin Jerry Newhouse, along with a long list of other cousins and friends.

Byrle was preceded in death by his father Eddie Whipple, Grandad and Granny Sutton, aunt Mavis Newhouse and Billy, uncle Robert Sutton, cousin Bobby Sutton, Lisa Garnes, Granny and Grandad Whipple, Uncle Freddie, Don Franklin Whipple, and Aunt Francis.
