Honey Grove, Texas -- The Honey Grove Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet is coming soon.

We are putting on a red carpet event to honor those in our community that have performed above and beyond.

“…and the winner is…”  will be an evening of glitz, glamor, red roses, and good food.  Complete with paparazzi, this banquet will be a night to remember.

Awards will be given for the Citizen of the Year, Business of the Year, Law Enforcement Officer of the Year, Fire Fighter of the Year, and Educator of the Year.

We are excited to announce that award winning Chef Rob Richards owner of Two Skillets Catering in McKinney, Texas. Rob has over 30 years’ experience. Not only is he a great chef, but he teaches and trains the culinary world’s future – young cooks who share his passion. He became a culinary educator at two Texas high schools and then became the area’s Culinary Program Director. Chef Rob and his students have earned top ranks in culinary competitions including Iron Chef and Chopped.

He is preparing the following menu for our enjoyment: Chicken Florestiere, Slow Roasted Pork Loin, Griddled Green Beans, Oven Roasted Potato Fingerlings and Garden Salad topped off with Key Lime Pie.

Adding to the fun there will be a silent and a live auction.
