Hello! I知 Fr. Lorenzo Galuszka, the new pastor of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Bonham. Holy Trinity, founded in 1877, is a welcoming church with reverent worship and friendly people, and I知 excited to serve here.
I wanted to introduce myself to Bonham and Fannin County. I come from an Italian and Polish American family and grew up in Arlington, Texas. After high school, I studied Radio-TV-Film at the University of Texas, Arlington (go Mavs!). It was at UTA that I discovered Anglicanism and heard God痴 call to ordained ministry. I
completed my seminary studies at Yale Divinity School, then returned to the Dallas area.
I was ordained deacon and priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, where I have served parishes in McKinney, Denton, and Sherman. I have also worked as a chaplain in adult and pediatric hospitals.
Along with my ministry at Holy Trinity, I also serve as the pastor of Saint Stephen痴 Episcopal Church in Sherman. The Episcopal churches of Sherman and Bonham have a long history of cooperation: the tradition of one priest serving both churches goes back to the 1880s!
My wife Jennifer and I live in McKinney (I do a lot of driving) with our beloved King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. In our free time, we enjoy going to the park, spending time with friends, and watching movies.
The Sunday service at Holy Trinity is at 11:30. Coffee hour or lunch follows in the Parish Hall. We would love to see you soon!
