Rehabilitation of FM 2645 in Fannin County

Fannin County – Texas Department of Transportation officials have announced that A.K. Gillis and Sons Construction of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be performing a rehabilitation of FM 2645 in Fannin County to include the widening of the existing roadway, flex base, and one course of surface treatment and super pave.

The Contractor has been granted 204 working days to complete the $7,274,667.34 project. The Contractor plans to begin work on September 4, 2024, weather permitting.  The contract is anticipated to be completed in late August of 2025.   

Lane closures will be present during construction. The traveling public is requested to observe signs and barricades and to approach work zones cautiously with reduced speed.
