McKinney, Texas -- The McKinney North Lady Bulldogs defeated Lake Highlands 3-0 at McKinney North High School on September 10, 2024.

The Lady Bulldogs reeled off consecutive wins of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-21 for the sweep.

McKinney North junior Allyn Brewer finished with a match-high 15 kills. Chloe Lewis also had a double-digit outing with 12 kills to go along with her three blocks.

Anna Sayman, a freshman, knocked down eight kills. Kaitlyn Jefferson contributed five kills, Ayanna Moore put down four kills and Nicole Jacobson had two kills.

Jordan Kowallis handed out 23 assists to her Lady Bulldog hitters and Malia McNeal had 13 assists.

Sayman and Brewer both had three aces.

Elle Holley lad the Lake Highlands attack with nine kills.

The Lady Bulldogs will begin District 13-5A play on Friday, September 13, 2024 against Sherman on their home court.
