Fannin County, Texas -- Boyd Baptist Church will celebrate its 75th Anniversary on Sunday, November 10, 2024. All members, former members, pastors, and friends are invited to join us as we celebrate
God’s blessing through the years.

The day will begin at 9:45 a.m. with reflections on the past. The worship service will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by a catered meal.

On January 4, 1948, a meeting was held at Boyd to discuss the possibility of organizing a church. James Ed Floyd donated one acre of land where the church stands today. A dedication service was held May 1, 1949 and Boyd Baptist became an organized constituted Southern Baptist Church. They adopted the Baptist Church Covenant and the Articles of Faith as their guidelines.

The church is located on Highway 78, four miles north of
Bonham.
