Garland, Texas -- The McKinney North Lady Bulldogs have played amazing games throughout the playoffs defeating Lufkin, Highland Park, Chaparral and Frisco Reedy with more than impressive wins. Last night, November 19, 2024 in Garland, Texas at the Curtis Culwell Center, the Lady Bulldogs defeated a tough, enthusiastic team from Aleda in the 5-5A district.

The Lady Bulldogs won hard fought games 1 & 2 then lost tight games 3 & 4. In the final game the Bulldogs lost the first point but came back to win the next 2 points. The lead went back and forth, many times tied, but the McKinney North Lady Bulldogs were ahead in the final game 14-13 and had to have a 2-point win. The large crowd erupted with cheers at the final point to give North the win 15-13.

The McKinney North Lady Bulldogs advance to the state championship final game on Saturday, November 23 at the Curtis Culwell Center.
