Bonham, Texas -- What a win Tuesday night for the Bonham Lady Warriors.  The Lady Warriors and the Howe Lady Bulldogs have been battling in the same district for several years now.   The Lady Warriors prove to be the better team when the buzzard sounded in overtime. The Lady Warriors move to 4-1 in non-district play.

Freshman Aaliyah Gonzalez led the Lady Warriors with a double-double, scoring 11 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and 5 steals.  Sophomore Parker Patton followed with 9 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Freshman Jenna Lindsey hit two crucial free throws to send the game
into overtime.  Jenna Lindsey and Hingrid Pedraza rounded out the scoring with 7 points and 7 rebounds each.

Bonham head coach Ashley Crockett said, "Want to talk about roller coaster and heart attack game, this one takes the cake. I’m so proud of my girls right now! They are fighting every day to get better at basketball and to be a better people. I am so proud of our program and the direction it is heading. Can’t wait for the season ahead."

The Lady Warriors will begin tournament play this Thursday in Savoy.
