Austin College students spend summer in vocational exploration internships

SHERMAN, TEXAS  -- More than 60 Austin College students are spending the summer completing internships spanning the full range of academic disciplines and in sites throughout Texas, the United States, and around the world. Austin College's Lilly Endowment for the Theological Exploration of Vocation program funds the projects. The Lilly program provides vocational exploration through experiential learning opportunities integrating faith and action.

Those student interns are listed by hometown, along with the area high school they previously attended, their parents, internship sites, locations, and areas of exploration.

Allen, Texas

Austin College, affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), is an independent, liberal arts college located 60 miles north of Dallas in Sherman, Texas. Chartered in November 1849, it is the oldest college in Texas under original charter and name as recognized by the State Historical Survey Committee.
