The Ector Eagles and the Lady Eagles both repeated last year's outstanding performance as the District 19-A champions at the District Cross Country meet held at the Bonham Lake on October 19.

In the boys division, Jeff Morris placed 2nd, Allen Jones 3rd, Trevor Bush 9th, John Atchley 14th, Mason Cox 17th, Matthew Polk 20th and Jeremy Washer 23rd.  As a team, the boys had 45 point in front of Miller Grove with 50 points and Savoy with 73 points.

In the girls division, Kayal Redden placed 2nd, Kayla Hopkins 4th, Chanda Hopkins 7th, Ashley Ramsey 10th and Heather Johnson 15th.  As a team the Lady Eagles scored 38 points in front of Savoy with 41 points and Miller Grove with 52 points.

Both teams will compete in the Region III Cross CCounrty on 11-5- 05 in Humble, Texas.   

The Ector Jr. High boys came in second place as a team in their cross country district meet.  Caleb Self had a good run finishing 2nd, Brandon Richards 3rd, Brandon Witte 6th, followed by Zakree Thompson, Isaac Hicks and Trezden Ford.
