The Wolfe City High School Cheerleaders recently returned from a National Cheerleaders Association summer camp.  The camp was held at SMU.  NCA selects winners at each of the camps it administers each summer.  The Wolfe City High School Cheerleaders received 5 superior ratings and 1 excellent rating for their nightly evaluations.

The mascot, "Killer", received 2 superior ratings for her evaluations, also.  In addition to those awards, the squad returned home with a Spirit Stick and the team was a National Championship Bid Winner which enables them to compete at the NCA Senior and Junior High School National Championship.

Two members of the squad, Brittany Stailey and Haley Giles, were named All-American Nominees.

This honor is awarded to outstanding individuals who display strength in one of the following categories:  motions, jumps, stunts, tumbling, dance or leadership.  These individuals are eligible to perform at various NCA Special Events.

Congratulations to the Wolfe City High School Cheerleaders.
