Defending  Class 2A Division II champs Celina and Robinson traded touchdowns in the early action before the Celina Bobcats put four TDs on the scoreboard to put this one away.

The Bobcats led 13-7 after the first period and held a 28-7 advantage at intermission.  A pair of third quarter touchdowns by Celina gave the Bobcats control of the contest.

Celina, picked as the team to beat in District 9-3A this season, looked impressive in the season-opening win over Robinson, the preseason favorite in District 17-3A.

Sophomore Charlie Waldrep ran for three of Celina's scores. 

The Bobcats finished with 184 yards rushing and 240 yards through the air.
