The 4th Annual Park Place Dealerships/Texas Rangers Triple Play, held June 18 at The Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas, attracted more than 500 fans and raised $330,000 for charity.

The event, chaired by Mark and Leigh Teixeira, along with Josh and Dana Lewin and Tom Hicks Jr., featured a 1950’s Rat Pack theme with dinner, live and silent auctions. Entertainment featured Rangers players competing in some of America’s favorite game shows, including Fielders Feud, based on the popular TV game show Family Feud, and fan favorite Jeopardy.

Benefiting the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation, the popular event was conceived by Rangers television announcer Josh Lewin and has raised nearly $800,000 since its inception. The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation is dedicated to building homes for families through Habitat for Humanity as well as constructing youth baseball parks in the area.

The Foundation has also created many youth incentive programs such as the Wells Fargo/Texas Rangers Rookie League and provided financial aid to more than 150 students to further their education through college scholarship programs. Park Place Dealerships, serving as the title sponsor of the Triple Play for the fourth consecutive year, represents a dozen luxury brands including Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Porsche, Volvo, Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Maserati.

Founded in 1987 by Ken Schnitzer, the company employs more than 1,000 people at nine Dallas/Fort Worth dealerships. More at www.parkplacetexas.com.
