Hannah’s Horseshoes of Hope, a therapeutic horseback riding center for students with disabilities presents “Hannah Sue’s Day in the Country,” their country tour on Saturday, June 2 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
This year’s tour will be held in the Honey Grove and Bugtussle areas.
Tickets are $10 and available on the day of event on the historic Honey Grove Square.
The homes and ranches that will be featured this year are:
Lyday Farms – An Arabian horse breeding farm – The ranch house is architecturally perfect. Magnificent setting.
Galbraith-Barbee Farm – Built in 1870 – Same family has lived there since built. The walls “ooze” history.
Jack Rabbit Ranch – New construction in Bugtussle. Decorating and landscaping are gorgeous
St. Mark’s Episcopal Church – Honey Grove– Built late 1880’s. Rarely open. Walls and windows are beautiful contrast.
Victorian Home – A Collector’s Delight. Features a tea room.
Lunch will be available at the Hall-Voyer Learning Center on the Honey Grove Square.
In addition, the Ladonia Chamber of Commerce will be opening The Bugtussle Store with crafts and snacks. They will also sponsor twenty miles of yard sales. Maps available day of the tour.
