EUREKA SPRINGS, AR – Due to January weather situations in the North and Northeast, the Ultimate Songwriters Workshop has made the decision to reschedule its first annual event so that participants in those regions will still be able to attend. Several calls from participants in the Northeast expressing concern over January travel issues prompted the reschedule in order to hold the best workshop possible for all songwriters.

The workshop will now be held August 2 - 5, 2008 at the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down. Any local properties that would like to get involved with the workshop may call (479) 239-4552 for further information.

Scheduled events for the workshop still include four #1 hit songwriters in concert, seminars by several well-known instructors, and a chance to meet with two Nashville publishers who will be attending the event. Extra activities will include show tickets to the Ozark Mountain Hoe-Down with jam sessions on the deck for writers, along with other activities happening in town.
