9th Annual Buffalo Girls Hotel CASI Chili Cookoff highlights Canton Trade Days

The 9th Annual Buffalo Girls Hotel CASI Chili Cookoff promises to be full of fun and entertainment for all.  The chili cook-off officially kicks off at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2008.  And don’t forget the shopping as Canton’s First Monday Trade Days is in full swing on the weekend of April 4-6, 2008. 

 

You can find the festivities in Canton on Highway 64, three blocks east of downtown on The Mountain at Old Mill Marketplace.  All proceeds of this event are being donated to Citizens League for Animal Pet Adoptions Welfare (C.L.A.W.), a nonprofit organization. 

 

Prizes, trophies and points toward the CASI Terlingua International Chili Championship on November 1, 2008, will be awarded.  Entertainment will be provided throughout the day by Kathy White, David Cline and Friends, the Old West Gunfighters, and Wildthing.  There will also be live auctions and raffles for some wonderful prizes.
