The Bonham Purple Warriors will open the 2008 football season with back-to-back road trips and then hometown fans will get their first chance to see the Warriors in action on September 9 when Bonham welcomes the Clarksville Tigers to town.
The Warriors kick-off their 2008 campaign on the road August 29 against a solid Callisburg team that went 6-4 in 2007 and then Bonham will have another long road trip on September 5 to face a Sanger team looking to rebound from a disappointing 3-7 season last year.
On September 12, the Warriors play their first home game against one of the fastest squads they will see all year, the Clarksville Tigers.
Bonham will head west again September 19 to take on the Whitesboro Bearcats and the following week will be the 2008 BHS Homecoming with Community coming to town.
The Warriors will have a bye on October 3 and then open District 10-3A competition at Van Alstyne on October 10.
The Commerce Tigers come calling October 17 and then Bonham travels to Paris North Lamar on October 24.
The Warriors' final home game will be against Paris High School on October 31.
Bonham will wrap up district play at Anna on November 7.
