Schlegel Sports recently hosted an open house to celebrate moving into their new offices in Victory Plaza, next to the America Airlines Center, in downtown Dallas.
“Victory Plaza is the heart of Dallas sports,” said Kirby Schlegel, founder and chairman of Schlegel Sports. “It’s a great location for our base of operations.”
More than 150 guests attended the open house, including Dallas Mavericks GM Donnie Nelson, former Denver Broncos cornerback Ray Crockett, former NBC broadcaster Scott Murray, Dallas Stars president Jeff Cogen, sports agent Jordan Woy and Dallas Cowboys running back Julius Jones. Catering was provided by Wendy Krispin with floral designs by Cymbidium.
Schlegel Sports specializes in sports team ownership and management, including the North American Hockey League Texas Tornado in Frisco; the NHL Dallas Stars’ AAA affiliate Iowa Stars of the American Hockey League; and the MLB Seattle Mariners’ AAA affiliate Tacoma Rainiers, a Pacific Coast League baseball team.
