Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008 in Arledge Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral Home. Pastor Brady Hacker will officiate.
Margaret was born Sept. 29, 1925 in Bonham, Texas, the daughter of Bailey Bryant Tarpley and Gracie Eula Cox Tarpley. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd, her son, Doyle Ray Herndon, and brothers, Leonard, Howard, Joe Bailey and Thomas Tarpley.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda Lancaster of Richardson, her sister, Evelyn Brewer of Bonham, three grandchildren, Bryant Herndon of Dodd City, Hollie Harbin of Whitesboro and Jason Turner of Irving and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dalton Herndon, Tanner Herndon, Shelby Dotson, Gary Lancaster, Robert Castle, Dennis Hackney and Monty Hackney.
The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday night.
