Austin College students elect Homecoming royalty

SHERMAN, TEXAS — Junior Maggie Marshall of Dallas, Texas, and senior Michael Gill of Grand Prairie, Texas, were crowned Austin College Homecoming king and queen during the Homecoming football game halftime activities October 25.

Maggie, completing a psychology and biology/exercise and sports science double major, is a member of Student Assembly, Pre-Med Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Big Brother Big Sisters of Sherman, Service Station, and Alpha Delta Chi social sorority, which she serves as treasurer.

Michael is a political science major with a minor in environmental studies. He is an outside linebacker on the College’s football team, a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Council and Senior Committee, and is president of Zeta Chi Beta social fraternity.
