Steve Mayer, a 23-year veteran of the family entertainment industry, has joined Hawaiian Falls waterparks as vice-president of special projects.

“Steve brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to our organization,” said David Busch, president and CEO of Hawaiian Falls. "His immediate task will be to add value to our group and special event areas and to assist strategically on new opportunities in the family entertainment industry. The waterparks are already implementing some of his ideas.”

Mayer has been on the development and management team for theme and waterparks throughout the United States, including parks in Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, and Mississippi. Mayer has a MBA in Finance from California State University and a Bachelors degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Northern Iowa. Open to the public Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Hawaiian Falls operates family waterparks in The Colony, Garland and Mansfield.
