Bonham, Texas -- Memorial services for Dorothy Lynn Shannon, 78, of Bonham, TX will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Moore’s Mission Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd., Concord, CA.  Graveside services will follow, Sunday, March 8 at 1:30 PM at Mountain Ranch Cemetery, Mountain Ranch, CA. Dorothy passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009 at Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter, TX.

 

Dorothy was born January 24, 1931 in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, the daughter of George Abbod and Jennie Abraham Abbod.  She married Richard Shannon who preceded her in death in Nov. of 1995.  Dorothy was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Virginia Cooper.

Mother:  Jennie Abbod of West Pittsburgh, CA

2 Brothers:  Albert Abbod of West Pittsburgh, CA

                Norman Abbod of Lake Forest, CA

1 Sister:  Elaine Davies of Tulsa, OK

6 Grandchildren:  Christopher Anderson, Dylan Rinehart, Kayla Rinehart, Felicia Rivera, Daniella Rivera and Ileana Rivera.
