The Texas A&M University-Commerce football team wrapped up spring football with a scrimmage and over 500 people braved the windy conditions and temperatures in the 30's on Saturday afternoon.

New head football coach Guy Morriss utilized quarterbacks Darby House and Ricky Beaty throughout the 70-play scrimmage. House began the scrimmage with a 28-yard touchdown pass to Ernest Quander to culminate a seven-play drive.

The defense retaliated as they held the offense out of the end zone and off the scoreboard for the next three drives.

The offense got back on the board after a 37-yard field goal by Juan
Velasco. The drive began with a 40-yard run by sophomore Kasib Williams until the defense clamped down to force the field goal.

On the ensuing possession, the offense scored its second touchdown on a 16-yard rush by newcomer Jamar Mosley. The touchdown was set up by a 16-yard completion on second down to Quander.
