Are you an artist? An art lover? Are you looking for that painting for over the fireplace, the perfect piece of jewelry for your loved one, or perhaps that sculpture for that empty space in the corner?

Or maybe you just like looking at interesting and beautiful things. Whatever your pleasure, join us on Saturday, May 30, 2009, 9:00am to 6:00pm for the 2nd annual Clarksville Fine Arts Festival!

Artists will be provided a free 10’ x 10’ booth (make your reservation here) to show and sell their artwork on the square in the Historic Downtown/Main Street District of Clarksville, Texas. We will present a $200.00 cash prize for the “Best in Show” among all artists.

Artists and shoppers from around the region will be making their way to Clarksville on May 30 to enjoy art, music, great food and lots of fun at the second annual Clarksville Fine Arts Festival.

The festival is set to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30 and continue until 6:00 p.m.

Last year more then 30 participating artists from Annona, Avery, Ballard, Blossom, Clarksville, Dallas, Detroit, Mt. Vernon, Paris and Sulphur Springs displaying their paintings, graphics, prints, sculptures, jewelry, fiber, wood and clay artwork. Don't miss out on the fun! Artists reserve your booth and everybody else make your plans today!

PRIDE, The Friends of Clarksville Main Street and Square Corner Artworks are sponsors of the event and invite all area artists to participate in the festival.

There will be free live musical entertainment for our visitors to enjoy all day. Local organizations and restaurants provide food booths.
There will be fun and entertainment for the whole family at the
Children’s Corner with art, games and contests for the kids.
