Gallagher family of Lucas, Texas tours Washington, D.C.

Judy and Jerry Gallagher of Lucas are spending this week touring Washington, D.C., and introducing their grandchildren the nation's capital city. Also pictured, Kasey Elrich, 10, of Lucas, Rhett Gallagher, 8, of Fairview, and Jessie Gallagher, 10 of Fairview.

This trip marks the kids' first visit to D.C. In addition to meeting their hometown Congressman, U.S. Congressman Sam Johnson (3rd Dist.-Texas), the Gallaghers plan to go on a tour of the Capitol, the Air and Space Museum, Mount Vernon and pay a visit to the Iwo Jima Memorial, among other things.
