Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Gary Wayne McFarlin, 43, of Bonham, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Carl Dye will officiate.  Burial will follow in Arledge Ridge Cemetery. 

 

Gary passed away early Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at his residence.

 

Gary was born January 19, 1966 in Bonham, Texas, the son of Patricia Ann Dryden McFarlin and Rusty McFarlin.  He was a graduate of Bonham High School and enjoyed trains, travel and books.  Gary worked in the meat market and was a greeter for Wal-Mart.  He was a true ‘people person’ and loved his Wal-Mart family.  Gary attended Northside Church of Christ. 

 

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Dryden, Nov. 4, 2002 and aunt, Deborah Dryden Riggs.

 

Gary is survived by ~

Sister:  Cindy McFarlin of Bonham

Maternal grandmother:  Mozelle McBrayer of Bonham

Uncles:  Mike Dryden and Jimmy McBrayer, both of Sherman

              Johnny McBrayer of Bonham

              Wal-mart family and many friends.

 

Pallbearers will be Jimmy McBrayer, Johnny McBrayer, Arthur Chaney and Robert Chaney.

 

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until service time, Saturday.
