Jamie Carter is a nationally known artist who has been a professional for 30 years.
She has over 75 paintings in print, and is widely collected across the U.S.A. and overseas.. Her work is often used for licensing.. and is represented by www.porterfieldsfineart.com and ArtTrends publishers.
She has had the pleasure of seeing it on everything from wrapping paper to fine art tapestries.. and has over 75 paintings in print sold nationally and internationally. Please take the time to see what's new on the web for Jamie Carter...or visit The Plaza Gallery in Paris, Texas to see her originals.
Helen Short has been a key reason that the Plaza Art Guild continues to thrive and grow. She is tireless and inspiring to anyone who has the opportunity to meet her or own one of her paintings. Helen works equally well in watercolors or in oils. Her collaged watercolor florals are more than a beautiful painting, but look as if you had a piece of fragile sculpture suspended within a frame. We are blessed and lucky to have her as an on-going charter member of our guild.
Helen did not start out to become an artist , but came to it later in life .She realized that painting was therapeutic for her ,and time spent at the easel would be emotionally and physically healing...We honor Helen and her artwork ….and we thank her for all that she does for us at the gallery.
Helen is one of our true professional artists in every way. She continues to paint and win awards. We hope you will come and visit her and her paintings soon.
The Plaza Art Gallery, located in historic downtown Paris, Texas, was established in 1997 by Dr. and Mrs. William Hayden as a way to highlight and sell quality art produced by local artists from Lamar County. |
