Commerce, Texas -- Funeral services for James Jimmie Victory, age 61, of Commerce, formally of Bonham will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2009 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham. Interment will follow at Arledge Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Victory passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at his home.

James Victory was born on January 29, 1948 in Honey Grove, TX to parents Zack Wesley and Gladys Lena Boatwright Victory. He married Bonnie Jean Tolbert on October 28, 1967 in Bonham, TX. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era, and was employed at Greenville Transformer as a supply clerk. He was forced to retire due to his illness.

James is survived by his wife Bonnie Victory of the home, daughters Debbie Cerasuolo and husband Bernie of Greenville, Jamie Rhodes of Commerce, 5 grandchildren Zackary Victory, Colten Cerasuolo, Austin Cerasuolo, Kevin Horn, and Abby Rhodes. Sisters Dorothy Green of Dodd City, and Lena Jones and husband Casey of Bonham, brothers Billy Victory and wife Goldia of Telephone, Clay Victory and wife Martha of Bonham, and Robert Victory and wife Catherine of Wolfe City also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Parr, Richard Victory, Bobby Tolbert, Randy Goyne, H.L. Tolbert, and Denny Tompkins.

Family visitation is scheduled for Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Bonham from 7-8 P.M.
