Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services for Ileene Eason, 82, of Bonham, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 28, 2010 in Wise Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Brad Dardaganian will officiate.  Burial will follow in Carson Cemetery in Ector.  Ileene passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab in Bonham.

Ileene was born December 27, 1927 in Ector, Texas, the daughter of George R. Lewis, Jr. and Annie Alberta Alderson Lewis.  She was a graduate of Ector High School.  Ileene was a Med-Aide at Seven Oaks Nursing & Rehab for a number of years.  She enjoyed growing plants and doing arts and crafts.  She loved animals and walking her dog. 

Ileene was preceded in death by a brother, George R. Lewis, III.

Surviving are ~

Daughters:  Karan Sheppard and husband, Harold A. of Clarksville

                Cheryl Peeler and husband, Bryan of Bonham

Sister-in-law:  Edith Lewis of DeSoto, TX

4 Grandchildren:  Ben Sheppard, Becky Riddle, Matt Sheppard and Preston Berryhill

9 Great Grandchildren:  Rachel Sheppard, Emily Sheppard, Brayden Sheppard, Garrett Riddle, Bonnie Beth Sheppard, Todd Sheppard, Jackie Gallegos, Damien Gallegos and Andy Gallegos

4 Foster Great Grandchildren

3 Step Grandchildren:  Faith Peeler Rich, Rebel Peeler and Jett Peeler

A number of nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be Preston Berryhill, Matt Sheppard, Ben Sheppard, Jamie Grimes, Micah Rich, Rebel Peeler, and Jett Peeler. 

Memorials may be made to the Fannin County Child Advocacy Center, 112 W. 5th St., Bonham, TX  75418. 

The family will receive friends at Wise Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until service time Friday.
