Bonham, Texas -- Funeral services, celebrating the life, of Emilia Castillo “Emily” Sanderson of Bonham will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 5, 2010 at Seventh & Main Baptist Church in Bonham under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Cody Nelson and Chaplain Jerry Newton will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Seventh & Main Baptist Church from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday evening prior to services.  

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM Tuesday, Apr. 6, 2010 at Gonzales Funeral Chapel, 310 S. Main, Lamesa, TX with the Funeral Mass to be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Margaret’s Mary Catholic Church in Lamesa.  On April 3, 2010 Emily Sanderson was carried by a host of angels to heaven to be with our Lord.  Her departure was from Wilson and Jones Hospital at age 46.  Her life was a blessing and great honor to anyone who came in her path.  

Emily was born January 2, 1964 in Lamesa, Texas,  the daughter of Loreto Castillo and the late Maria Rodriquez Castillo.  She was a 1982 graduate of Lamesa High School and attended St. Margaret’s Mary Catholic Church.  Emily married Kyle Sanderson on December 17, 1995 in Lamesa.  She was a member of Seventh and Main Baptist Church and was extremely active in the Relay for Life.  Emily was employed as a clerk for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (Moore Unit), Bonham, Texas. 

She was preceded in death by her mother and one brother Pedro Castillo. 

She is survived by:

Father:  Loreto Castillo of Lamesa, TX

Daughter:  BiBi Sanderson of Bonham, TX

Brothers:  Johnny Castillo of Lamesa, TX

                Federico Castillo of San Antonio, TX

Sisters:  Esperanza Rodriquez of Lamesa, TX

                Ruth Castillo of San Angelo, TX

                Hillary Castilla of Lamesa,TX

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends
