Savoy, Texas -- Missy went to be with her Lord May 2, 2010 at the Medical Center Of Plano. She was born September 13, 1969 in Sherman, Texas the daughter of Tommy Baker and Debby Foster Baker.
Milissa was a loving mother and a blessing to everyone who knew her, and even those who didn't know her were touched through her talented music ministry. She was greatly loved and will be missed dearly. She is forever in our hearts. We look forward to the day we are reunited with her.
Missy was a registered nurse at Texoma Medical Center Ambulatory Care where she never met a stranger. She was a 1988 graduate of Savoy High School and graduated from Grayson College Nursing Program. She was the pianist and a loving member of Savoy United Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 10:AM at the Savoy United Pentecostal Church conducted by Rev. Virgil Cornwell of the church and Rev. John Foster, her uncle. Interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery under the direction of Mullican-Little Funeral Home of Bells/Savoy, Texas.
Missy is survived by her children Nathaniel Glass, Micah Glass, Andrew Glass, and Carleigh Glass all of Savoy, father Tommy Baker of Bonham, mother Debby Foster of Savoy, brothers Gary Baker and Daniel Baker and his wife Sarah all of Dodd City, sister Mary Cornwell and her husband Rusty of Savoy, grandmother Emma Jo Foster of Savoy and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday at the Savoy United Pentecostal Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Savoy UPC Youth Department or Music Ministry.
Pallbearers will be Shane Wolven, Michael Hallford, Brent Millett, Brent Frailicks, Roy Weldon, and Todd Yeary.
