Bonham, Texas -- Graveside services for William Neal Thomas, age 89, of Bonham, will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Providence Cemetery in Fannin County under the direction of Wise Funeral Home.  Rev. Cody Nelson will officiate.  Neal passed away early Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Seven Oaks Care Center in Bonham.

Neal was born September 23, 1920 in Fannin County, Texas, the son of Bigie A. Thomas and Wardie LaVella Nelson Thomas.  He was a graduate of Bonham High School.   Fresh out of school, Neal began his career as the Concession Operator for the Fannin County Courthouse, where he remained until he retired.   Neal was a charter member of Seventh and Main Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Vera Jewel Thomas

He is survived by:

Brother:  David Thomas of Bonham

Nephews:  Larry, Joe, and Charles Thomas, and their families, all of Bonham

Friends: Mike and Lou Ann Bankston of Bonham

                Michelle and Austin Burtis of Bonham

                Michael and Nita Bankston of Bonham and their families
