The magazine’s top 100 women Financial Advisors rankings were based on the volume of assets overseen by the advisors and their teams, revenues generated for the firms, and the quality of the advisors' practices. Other criteria include caliber of service, examination of regulatory records and talking with peers, supervisors, clients and the advisors themselves.  Portfolio performance is not a criterion because most advisors do not have audited track records.
